We are excited to announce the upcoming Kootenai Classic Livestock Show, taking place this summer! As we gear up for this highly anticipated event, we are reaching out to our community with an invitation to join us as volunteers. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or considering your first experience, we have a variety of roles available to suit your skills and interests. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our event and contribute to the overall success of this celebration of agriculture. If you are passionate about livestock, agriculture, or community events, and wish to contribute your time and skills, we encourage you to apply.
WHY VOLUNTEER?
As well as being part of a fun and rewarding experience supporting our local community, volunteering at the Kootenai Classic Livestock Show is also an opportunity:
To gain community service hours for yourself or your organization.
To raise dollars meeting the fundraising goals of your organization.
When you fill out an application you can specify your reason for volunteering and share your targets for volunteer hours or earnings for your fundraising helping us match your goals to our needs.
DATES AND DUTIES:
Pre-event parking lot, camping, and animal stalling set up on June 11th
Removal of pig stalling the evening of June 15th
Post show take down and clean up the evening of June 16th
Final cleanup of the fairgrounds the morning of June 17th
HOW TO APPLY:

Previously exhibited livestock at 5 or more shows
Effectively communicate with others and maintain a positive attitude
Cooperate with other Ambassadors to work as a team
Maintain your focus for long periods of time
Physical stamina, long periods of standing
Be conscious of time constraints and logistics
